Great researchers often have ideas that seem crazy at the original time of their discovery or articulation. For example, in 1854, John Snow discovered that cholera was not spread by “miasma” but by “germs.” This theory was largely rejected at the time. Many other new ideas have been rejected at the time of their discovery. Come up with a speculative idea about time travel that would face widespread resistance. Imagine that it is true and write a short piece arguing in favor of it.
